Corner Pride was delightfully and smartly written off-setting the daily strife of life in the violent inter-city, through the eyes of youthful characters, you feel their resilience, their hope and you are swept up in their childhood dreams and aspirations that despite the cold, rough exterior of the city there is warmth, there is caring, there is loyalty. As a fellow Philadelphian I was transposed back in time to my own childhood experiences and I could smell the aroma coming from Pat's Steak House, feel the hot, humid almost stifling moist air, the street corner quartets and my special friends that I spent summertime daydreaming with.
Great job!
